Vendor A person, company or organisation that submits a Proposal in response to the Te Au Reka RFP. The term Vendor includes each member of any joint proposal.

Verdict The answer given to the court by a jury in any case, civil or criminal.

Victim A person injured by the wrongful action of another.

Without notice An application to the court that is not formally provided to (served on) the other party or person whose interests will be affected by the application.

Witness (in court) A person appearing at a hearing to give evidence.

Witnessed document A document signed in the presence of an appropriate person who affirms it by adding their name and signature.
